"Ready Player Me—XR Avatars Demo" is a technical demonstration of the Ready Player Me Avatar System for XR with Unity. We just published it on GitHub and Meta App Lab.

The avatar creator in Unity now supports body shapes. Once enabled in studio, you can use and customize the new BodyShapeSelectionElement. We also have some updates to the avatar creator sample and the new XR Avatar type.

Ready Player Me Avatar Creator now features body shape customization, providing users with four different choices to select from.

For VR and multiplayer games, you can make use of the improved mesh-swap utility, so that you set up your player-avatar once and only exchange the mesh.

The latest release of the Unity SDK 6.0 has all the building blocks to create your unique Avatar Creator experience inside the game engine. It also supports a new bodytype for XR apps (experimental).
